1. Brominated epoxy resins can be divided into low, medium and high molecular weight. Low molecular weight is suitable for flame retardant ABS and hips, and high molecular weight is suitable for ABS / PC polymers, PBT, PA6 and PA66.
2. The molecular weight of brominated epoxy resin ranges from 700 to 45000. Various resins with different molecular weight affect the physical properties, heat resistance and impact resistance of flame retardant plastics. Therefore, the appropriate molecular weight can be selected according to different flame retardant requirements. 
1200-4000 is applicable to ABS and PP resins. 
8000-25000 is applicable to PBT and pet. 
25000-50000 for PA6, PA66.
Brominated epoxy resins below 1400 are used in copper clad laminate industry (not as flame retardant).
